They should do that. Why not use the space if they have it. Now we know for sure that there is space for 17 HD channels.

these two new hd channels r being given as a replacement for espn hd and star cricket hd, no other ch will b added as per info.
also airtel is taking baby step in using tp space specially incase of hd chs as they consume very high space. tp space is scarce and leasing new tps is costly, revenue is not that high in dth and still dth companies like airtel r in losses so do not expect pro active steps from airtel but yes in jan they will take some action as both d2h and tata sky will b adding new chs
