The fact is majority of Indians think anime is childish and they do not know how good some of them are. To be frank pokemon and beyblade etc are nowhere close to anime's like Death Note, Attack on Titan etc. They all are meant for 18+ viewers. These anime's connect so well with the viewers. Japanese are very good at this and you can only know this if you give it a chance and watch it yourself. Infact majority of the anime's we get are not even rated that highly in Japan. So Indians always get the average ones. I'm talking about the anime's that are not on Animax.

18+ animes like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood (which is no.1 anime of all time ) Tokyo Ghoul Death Note Parasyte The Maxim Danganronpa Series Akame Ga kill cross ange Attack on titan Code Geass Re Zero Assassination classroom are some of the best animes in globe

Animax aired some of the 18+ animes at late night
Ranma 1/2 watch uncensored one its too awesome Animax censored it badly
But mostly 18+ animes were censored by animax some titles 18+ animax cancelled also because they were afraid of SEA government
