Update South Africa Squad Unchanged For Zimbabwe Test

The South African squad for the one-off Test against Zimbabwe will be the same as the one that toured Sri Lanka for the recently concluded Test series, Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced. South Africa, who won the Test series against Sri Lanka 1-0, under the captaincy of Hashim Amla, regained the number 1 ranking in Test cricket.

The Proteas will play the only Test of the Zimbabwe tour from August 9 to August 13, after which they will play three ODIs against their African counterparts from August 17 to August 29. Following this, South Africa, Australia and Zimbabwe will face off in a triangular ODI series, which will be held in Zimbabwe from August 27.

Test squad: Hashim Amla (capt), AB de Villiers (vice-capt), Kyle Abbott, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Dean Elgar, Imran Tahir, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Alviro Petersen, Vernon Philander, Dane Piedt, Dale Steyn, Stiaan van Zyl.
