Star Gold is ready to set the tone for blockbuster television premieres in 2014. The Star network has announced the acquisition of a fresh movie library as part of its extensive plans for this year in the Hindi movie genre. The new acquisitions comprise 18 highly anticipated Bollywood films including films of leading superstars such as Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan.
In early 2013, Star India had signed an exclusive television broadcast rights deal with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn for their films till 2017. In addition to this, the network has signed a deal for other exciting movies for its 2014 movies lineup. Some of the high profile premieres slated for the year include Jai Ho, Kick, Bombay Velvet, Bang Bang, Roy, Action Jackson, Singham 2, Hamshakals, Bobby Jasoos and Creature.
