Star India gears up for launch of Star Movies Select HD and FX HD

Star India is set to launch two high-definition (HD) channels in the English entertainment space, one of which is a movie channel, Star Movies Select. The company will also launch FX HD soon, the HD version of its channel FX. With the addition of the two channels, Star India can boast the largest bouquet in the English entertainment space, both in SD and in HD. Star India sources have confirmed that Star Movies Select HD will replace Fox Crime, which is going to be discontinued from 19 April. “Star Movies Select will be launched to replace Fox Crime. However, the date of launch is being worked out and could be later in April,” the source said.

Channel is not important, content is. Already STAR World HD struggling infront of Premium Users then who will watch FX HD ?

People will any how ordering SWP HD as they're getting US shows very first in Indian Television then why FX HD is required ?

FX HD would be good. But they should divide contents equally between Star World and FX.

Good way to earn extra revenue line Star Sports HD 1-2-3-4 and so on .... same content at different channels wow ... totally annoying .... these B** should be reprimanded.... and consumer interest should be protected ..... its a malign practice of looting people ..... TRAI is enjoying it's cut what ever this channels should be Alacarte & not part of any package .... Trust if my DTH provider tries to impose these channels to me this time i would certainly file a legal suite ....
