I hope it will be a premium channel and like to see ala carte based channel so then it couldn't hole everyone's pocket and remain cup of tea for few peoples only.

Anirudha bro , nothing will be heavy on pocket if DTH operators create proper packages according to needs of various segment of customers plus they can add many carriage fee channels and earn more and more revenue which will help the package prices remain affordable. If these 2 things r done then no need to worry but except Videocon too some extent no one is doing this, Videocon is fine in one front but they need to restructure their packages and add on packs.

it is a premium channel so no worry for you as you watch only the hindi channels most of the time.

Also to give competition to cable they need to give local channels, International Channels and Non Stop Hindi/English/Regional Movie Channels like LCO/MSO give. If they do not do these things then DTH will remain a loser and will have max customers inactive. Already 45 percent customers r deactive bcoz they use cable
