How many channels, 4 Telugu or any other language

4 telugu channels only.

Why other promoters / directors like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Allu Aravind...... couldn't invest more to keep it floating instead of selling it to Star.....
Personnally I would have preferred Sony instead of watching Star to become a owner.......

There is no name change for the time being. maa brand remains same. Maa Network sold all channels to star but still the company exists.They did not disclose their future plans.

Because these Indian companies want more profit without investment but foreign companies like Viacom , star is more in mood to invest. If zee invest more they would be no 1 but not, zee is more interested to run zee smile , 9x like channels for only revenue but not for real entertainment
