Star India to launch two new HD sports channels
However I was wondering, as it says in the article above, they'll eventually retire the SD feed and move everything ('international sports') to Select HD channels, what purpose would existing 4 HD channels serve. Surely, we don't need 4 channels for Cricket!
Further, it will be interesting to see how these channels are priced. Whether they're offered separately or if they're included in the current packs, in which case they'll jack up the prices of the current HD packs. I guess we'll find out more in the days to come.
