Important Star India upstages Neo Sports to acquire French Open rights

Star India has bagged exclusive media rights to the French Open for the years 2017–21. Neo Sports is the incumbent broadcaster of the tournament in India. Accordingly, Star India will become Roland-Garros’ exclusive media partner for India and the Indian subcontinent (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka). It will offer extensive coverage of the full 15 days of the tournament, and all of the French Tennis Federation’s (FFT) on-ground initiatives in the region.

What else they have in the kitty now as global rights apart from Tele shopping. Its better for Nimbus to shut down operations and concentrate on production.

I really want to know what is the promoter of this channel thinking about this channel. Is he going to run the channel with contents which nobody is going to watch?

Now they are left with option only to shut shop. I don't see any merit in them continuing the business.
