I m sure Star will telecast IPL along with SS1, SS1 Hindi, in multi-language in their multi regional channels like, Star Vijay Super & SS 1 Tamil in tamil feed, Star Suvarna Plus & SS 1 Kannada (may be launching soon) in Kannada feed, Asianet Movies in Malayalam feed, Star Maa Movies & SS 1 Telugu (may be launching soon) in Telugu feed, Star Pravah Movies (may be launching soon) in marathi feed, Star Jalsha Movies in bengali feed. Also for increasing of viewership, they may telecast IPL on Channel V, Star Gold, Star Bharat, Star Movies (in english) and so on.

as per rule, the companies could form a consortium and if its consolidated global bid happened to be greater than the sum total parts of every individual bid they stand to win the rights.

Accordingly, the sum total of other bids, excluding Star consortium, was Rs 15,819.51 crore which is at least Rs 500 crore less than Star India's consolidated bid.
