STAR N/w should telecast Cricket in HD and in both English & Hindi Commentary.....!!!!!

No doubt they are abt to show Champ tropy both in English and Hindi Commentary BUT one is in HD and other in SD ...on Star Cricket HD and Star Sports 2 SD....


Having Star Sports HD in place for showing this live matches could have made large quality difference....

As other HD channel is only for combined sports ESPN HD for cricket,sccocer,Tennis and will have major contents..

for Cricket HD view: I have below opinion...that Star N/W should consider being ordinary Audion..

- I love to watch cricket matches now only in HD and being having Star Cricket HD ( sometimes ESPN HD) I can enjoy these matches with great experience...
Also hearing the Commentary in Dolby digital Plus and thats of G8 Legends like Gavaskar,Shastri,Manjarekar,Dravid,Ganguly ......in ENGLISH ..I just love n grab it ...........!!!!

- At the same time I would love to watch Cricket contents in Hindi Commentary to experience the Great EXCITING hearing HINDI experience i.e. from Kapil,Akram,Arunlal ( as earlier test series and Now Cham Trophy on STAR SPORTS 2) ...
But again missing to SEE in HD as no availability of Hindi Commentary on HD channels...

So having 1 more HD channel to broadcast Cricket Hindi Commentary will be a GOOD move and choice to customer to see the Cricket matches in HD one by one in English and Hindi As well for time to time......!!!



Same is applicable for soccer in another way..for yesterdays shown 4 live matches...

Good move given by STAR Network...No one can miss anything now...4 live matches ...oh my goodness..!!!!
Also Quality is there...oh but I see there is only 1 HD channel....ESPN HD which can accommodate live Soccer matches...
rest of 3 are SD channels to put live coverage of scccer i.e. Star Sports, Star Sports2 & ESPN.

Having Star Sports HD in place for showing this live matches could have made large quality difference....

as othe is only for Cricket HD.

Dont you think guys...!!! Please support...1

Only english knowing people are not the real lovers of Cricket.

A common person and lay man are also the Heart of Cricket Fans. So they can enjoy better with Hindi Commentary.

But they should give double audio feed i.e English and Hindi for same channel and should not waste a complete channel for only Hindi Commentary.

First of all Broadcasting of Multiple Audio Feeds is impossible for Live Events.
Secondly, Cricket is the game of British. So, one must understand English commentary although its not necessary.
Thirdly since decades, we are watching cricket in English and i don't think commentaries are so tough that non english viewers can't understand.

They are already providing Hindi feed on a separate channel. So, why not just be happy with that. I think we should better have a Poll for that so that we could understand what our forum members want . What say guys ?

Its just not the thing that one thing going on same trend for years so we cant make it better via Hindi Commentary.

Cricket have become a Universal Game and its not just the Farangi Game now.

Even FARANGI have still not Won any WORLD CUP of 50 Over Version:aetsch:

BTW, As i can see the thread starter is demanding Cricket in HD on Star. We already have Star Cricket HD which telecasts all major cricket events.
