Star Plus’ ‘Tu Mera Hero’ biggest 2014 fiction launch with 7.3 TVM

Leading Hindi GEC Star Plus’ recently launched romantic comedy ‘Tu Mera Hero’ has become the biggest fiction launch of 2014 with a debut rating of 7.3 TVM (television viewership in millions). Premiering on 22 December, the show ruled the 8-pm time slot with 7.3 TVM on the launch day itself. The show went on to beat the best launched show of 2014, rival Zee TV’s ‘Jamai Raja’, which was at No. 1 with 5.5 TVM on the launch day. Replacing ‘Ek Hasina Thi’, which opened with 0.4 TVM, ‘Tu Mera Hero’ made it to the top 10 fiction list by the 50th week.
