The fate of four fictions are hanging in the balance in a major revamp being orchestrated by Star Plus.

The channel, which has been losing ground in ratings, is rumoured to be put ‘Ishqbaaaz’, ‘Naamkarann’, ‘Meri Durga’ and ‘Ikyawann’ under the scanner, according to Spotboye. A fifth show, ‘Dil Sambhal Ja Zara’ is already on the verge of going off-air.

Star Plus is said to be gearing up for a makeover later in the year and is working on refreshing its output to lure back viewers. As a part of the plans, the four shows will go off-air by June, with a fresh output being planned for July onwards.

There needs to be some quality Hindi language series. All these Hindi general entertainment channels have been showing too much of nonsense content made especially for females. Both Hindi movie industry and TV industry are messed up beyond imagination! People continue watching nonsense in the name of entertainment and it is mindboggling!

Newton was supposed to be the finest movie from India in 2017 and was even sent to the Oscars, but it hasn't got nominated. Hundreds or even thousands of movies are made every year in India and none of them win any prestigious international accolade.

I have stopped watching Hindi movies for quite some time now. Because we still have Tiger Zinda Hai thing going on in 2018!

and it is time to look beyond bollywood, watch regional movies that churn out better movies than bolly.
I haven't watched many regional movies, yet to watch Bahubali 2. I am not really a fan of regional movies. They also have overacting and songs and dance thing going on. If you really scrutinize a movie like Bahubali, it only tells you that it's bigger and includes more computer generated graphics. If you watch movies from all over the world. You kind of start to see where the problem in even big films like Bahubali lies. It lacks a strong story and still has dance and romance and all that public fooling thing going on.

Movies in India are more about actors than stories. No one cared who Elijah Wood was in The Lord of the Rings because the movie had a great story and great cinematography. Computer generated graphics must be used as a tool for storytelling and it shouldn't become the defining feature of a movie. At the end of the day, a movie is all about storytelling.

you should watch the small budget movies where the content matter and not the movies that are telecasted on the hindi movie channels Between songs and dances the oldest films in India used to have runtime of 4 hours with songs thrown in between as way of expressing the thoughts.
Overuse of CGI irritates the ardent movie fans as there might be lacking elsewhere, a hollow space. Coming to Bahubaali, i feel part 1 had the nuances and strong story board that lacked in second part. The presentation and visualisation needed to cover the tracks
