The article further says Zee Classic HD is also coming. Unlike the speculation that the license might be used for some other channel.

There were doubts but the article speaks of it so it means at least now the channel is on track to launch.

But there is a need for classic movies channel, I would prefer watching it in good picture quality though upscale one

I think most of new generation guyz are not liked classical movies. Even I also, never watch Sony MAX 2 or Zee Classic etc.
