Content editing would not be a bigger deal I assume; most of these shows are listed are rated PG-13/14. All they could do is crop out any thing that they might feel is inappropriate to Indian audience or sentiments.

We will get all the channels we want shortly...but in the channel count race ...the DTH providers also add useless channels.....

Thats what i was saying even though TS was the least channel provider it had all the important channels ....we were missing very very few channels....since now TS is creating space we can expect some channels to be added by TS which we may not like it....

OT: i have a que. Is any HD/SD channel can launch without permission of Trai? Actually i hvnt saw the name of many channels in permitted channel latest list & which r running on cable & DTHs and i think sw premiure is also not there?

Plz ans anyone. :rolleyes:

They can launch any entertainment channel if they have a permit from trai in earlier permitted list as they got specific time frame to launch.

never but trai is regulatory body which controll after launch. For a channel downlink in india, need permission of I&B MINISTRY. But govt sites are not upto dated like tata sky so its not there.
