Yes it is added too late. They are still working on to increase the number of channels(mostly SD channels). I was told that new channels count will increase by December end.

1st priority should be to increase the SD channel only as their viewership is in majority.

I have got a new Hathway Digital Tv connection with a set top box in Hyderabad. We would like get more tamil channels like Star Vijay, Sun music, aditya etc , is there a way where we can customize and choose our package, the customer care doesn't pick up the call, please advice.

As far as I know there is no packages in Hyderabad bro.For SD channels 200 per month is there but it is direct Hathway localities only.If your area is not coming under Hathway then your LCO will charge more that is depends on area to area.Tamil HD channels are coming but in Hyderabad only few Tamil channels are coming.You can check SD channels list here.If you have any doubts PM me.
