Yes...Special channels are, Star world premiere HD, HBO hits & Defined HD and SD, topper
Hbo hits and defined both SD and HD are premium Ad. free channels...so in future if it is added, it will burn your pocket by Rs. 120 for HD and RS.60 for SD atleast.

Their actual rate is 129rs for hd & 99rs for sd.

Due to failure of these channels ,they aren't increasing prices which was supposed to be increased after 3months(after june 21).

Yesterday i spoke to a tata sky CC, he kept on repeating just one thing....its a special channel, not included in mega pack.
So whats the use of taking Mega pack if they have an option to add any new channel to special category.

hurray..I got my starworldpremium HD free till my mega south HD subscription ends next month.I just had sent a mail to [email protected]. Guys you too can drop a mail if you are a mega pack subscriber who has subscribed prior to Feb 2013.

Finally the Twitter and Facebook trolling paid off.

Got a call from customer support and apologised for the entire episode. Star World Premiere HD is enabled for me free of cost as I subscribed for Mega HD on 30th Jan 2013. The "Special" policy is in place since 1st Feb 2013.

It is enabled for me on primary as well as on secondary connection till 30th Jan 2014.

If you have subscribed before 1st Feb 2013, you are in luck.

It's nothing but some random date. It's has been 8 months and we never heard about this date and suddenly all Tata Sky officials along with their CEO is singing the same song.

These guys are big scamsters. I wish their office is gutted into fire and their satellite got eloped into black hole.

They are looting our hard earned money. They will never rest in peace.

No its not a random date.
Its only after Feb 1 2013 that they made changes to Specials Pack.None of us knew that.
Legally users who activated it before Feb 2013 can sue them.
Knowing this they are activating for users who activated before Feb 2013.
You can file a consumer case online these days.Who are all affected should indeed file a case against Tatasky and also notify Trai.

I have been Annual South Mega HD pack subscriber from 2010. My recent renewal was in Aug 2013, and was not getting this channel.
I wrote 2 emails, got standard template reply
Called up CC, they gave the standard reply. Asked them to contact their next level. They again were talking about standard reply.
After 15 mins of heated discussions, finally they activated this for free, agreeing that I was not informed about this change in policy when I had done the renewal.
TS should really think hard before suddenly introducing new schemes like this. If they had notified me about this change either in my email, or notification in STB (which they do for lot of other things and not for this), I would not have asked for this channel.

Anyway until my next renewal I will get this channel, which is a fair deal.

Now u have got one user confirmation who have recharged after 1 feb and still got this channel free

Sorry for late updation. I already got this channel but I am still unhappy because the way channel got activated is not acceptable.

So, I would be continuing my fight for our rights.

Tata Sky should have proactively activated this channel for all customer and then would have alerted that this is a premium channel and once validity is completed it will no more be available and needs to be subscribed as a la carte.
