STB recording does not play in PC

[Rameshjey]

I recorded a program

on my stb using USB drive for viewing later. But this .ts file is not recognised by the any PC video players such as VLC, MPC windows media player. etc. It could be encryption issue. Any user experience? My MSO is TCCL in Tamilnadu.

It won't play because video in encrypted in STB and will play only on that STB only.

One thing is STB is linux and laptop OS would be in Win hence the pen drive wont be compatibel too
