HELP Strange problem with d2h hd dvr

I am using d2h 500gb hd dvr from last few months. I was using it with Sony bx300 lcd earlier. But yesterday i bought a new sony klv-24ex430 LED tv.After attaching the tv with dvr through hdmi cable., the problem starts. I am unable to access the tv menu with tv remote in any of the channels(only the sensor light in tv blinking) . But i tried with another blank hdmi(hdmi 2 which is empty) slot(through remote) when d2h is connected through hdmi 1n the menu cames.I tried changing the both hdmi port through different hdmi cables but the problem remains same
But strangely in dvr standby mode n just in time of booting the menu through tv remote comes n if i don't exit from the menu all the submenu's are working fine in all the channels.

Then i tried with a d2h hd zapper box with the tv n all things are working properly now . The tv menu through tv remote comes in every channel without any issues.

So please friends help me to solve this issue..

Call the demo guy from Sony he might help u

If d2h zapper is working fine then definitely DVR is at fault.

Call d2h engineer asap.

Called both sony n videocon cc.D2h staff already visited n updated my dvr with new software(new sw is somehow better than previous version in terms of PQ,speed ,style etc) but the main problem remains unsolved.Now waiting for higher official(d2h) visit.Sony guy will came 2morrow as per the telephone coversation with them.Now waiting for some resolutions asap.

If beloved forum members hv ny sugg. pls share.

Have u tried with connecting AV [Composite] or Componant connections? if not try once.

Yes try connecting AV cable and check if TV is working fine. If yes then your DVR HDMI port would be creating technical snag .

When is the Senior d2h official visiting ?? Also Check some more devices with same HDMI cable and same ports .

At 1st instance i felt your LED HDMI ports are troublesome but since HD Box is working fine, so TV doesn't seems to be at fault. But still look for updated firmware for your LED.

Thanks IM bhai, Mr. Bhat n all others 4 help. Just tried connecting with av cable... Now the menu comes without any problems... So no issue with av cable use... Only hdmi+dvr+ my tv combination is creating problems.

So what is your suggestions now?

Thanks for the link. BTW I already informed a higher official of d2h in kolkata personally about the issue. Local RAC of d2h already visited my home, They ask me to provide tv model no n hope they are working to solve my issue.
