HELP Strange problem with d2h hd dvr

I already tried with two hdmi cables but the problem remains same.
How can we solve hdmi synchronization issue? Is it a issue with tv or dvr or both?
Sony or d2h which comp.can solve it?

Actually as seen in Sony Products few Codecs r not matching with others. for example some DVDs not working in Sony but works even in Local branded DVD Players.
I think only Sony Technicians can fix the issue . d2h techs cant do much as SW is the same for all STBs. they cant change it.
May be u have to watch in Componant or Composite connections.

Recently 1 instance happened to me,
I bought a Sony HD DVD Player and got a Sony 4GB Pen Drive free. It was preloaded with 2 Movies . I have Onida HD TV , connected with HDMI and got msg in TV as " Format is not supported" .I have to change the Format of Movie to watch those.

in tv, go to settings then hdmi and select sync devices.
