Regional broadcaster Sun TV Network has partnered video-on-demand service HOOQ to offer its catalogue of regional movies in a multi-year deal. HOOQ, which recently entered the Indian market, claims to have over 30,000 hours of movies and TV content. It will now carry Sun TV’s library that includes a mix of films from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. HOOQ CEO Peter Bithos said, “We are proud to partner Sun TV Network. Their extensive library with titles from Tamil to Malayalam will help us ensure we have something for everyone in India. More importantly, we want our customers to continue to enjoy the largest and best catalogue of Hollywood and Indian content of any service available today.”
