
The Kalanithi Maran owned company, Sun TV Network is planning to extending its reach to other regional markets. The broadcaster is planning to launch two channels in Marathi and Bengali regions by next financial year.
A sources close to the development confirmed the news to exchange4media and said, “ The plan is there to launch two channels in these two markets. Though right now, developments are in initial stage but the network is trying to launch channels in FY 18-19.”
Sun TV is a leading player in South India with a bouquet of 33 channels across four South Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
