A condom commercial featuring actress Sunny Leone will lead to more rapes, senior Left leader Atul Kumar Anjaan has warned in a video that appears to have been shot at a rally in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday. The video was uploaded onto YouTube by a channel called Khabar India.

In his rather bizarre comments, the national secretary of the Communist Party of India or CPI accused the advertisement of "developing sexuality and ruining sensibilities." If people are allowed to watch this commercial, there will be a rise in rapes, he warned.
