i think few months means next year 2013 dec gemini tv hd broadcast team wakeup and some hd content movies play it 1month and sleep it.....next 2014 they remove gemini tv hd......and add other regional channels like zee telugu hd and maa hd channel and maa music hd....

One of the reason can be lack of content. Even in Sony SIX HD and Colors HD for starting few months, programs were in SD converted to HD.

Similarly Gemini TV programs and movies print won't be available in high definition.

yes im brother they are stuck with some force from bigges.so they are not able to done in presant. zee telugu hd coming soon with big stuff.i sure they are giving atleast 40 per hd content.

And....gemini tv have so many new movie rights .....like bussinessman,7th sence,robo,kiladi,king and somany movies are avilable in blueray......so atleast gemini tv hd broadcast new movies in hd......but they are broadcast new movies in upscaled...

It was my guess buddy. May be you are right. I think they launched HD service without proper preparation and now everyone is facing the disaster. Sun direct has a very bad fate in terms of this

But Sun Tv HD now added few more programs in HD including moring show.

Making HD content requires complete technological transformation. And comparing to Star and Viacom 18 i am sure South Indian content providers won't be making huge profits. So, it will surely take some more time for them to come up with HD content .
