if the scheme is any useful i am happy but these taxes are used for the intended purposes?

Service tax and income tax are two different things. Proceeds from Swatch bharat abhiyan cess will be used towards PM'S pet project 'Ganges Cleansing'.

Here service tax is hiked by another .5% means all service charges on your day to day usages will go up by a rupee. This will not increase holistically on your bills.

On one had this stupid government is talking about GST and on another hand they are introducing new new taxes. What the hell they gonna do with this country.

They are quiet sure that GST cannot be passed since they don't have enough numbers in the upper house. Till that time they can squeeze us.

GST ll b passed. all political parties have already been agreed to that but those parties wants some changes in GST acts like reduction in tax by 100 basis points n few points also.

Yes GST will be passed with some modification to it
