I will suggest you to escalate this further with nodal officer & CEO.......& don't let them off............

Although I never used Airtel DTH, I have used other Airtel servies.......& the experience was bad.
I think all this depends on the people who own the business, their mentality & their way of doing business.........
Only thing I can say is I am scared of rogue people..........

As far as cable is concerned, their way of doing business is different. So if you are living in Mumbai, better to visit their office & get the connection.

Thanks for the advice. I have written to the Airtel DTH Mumbai nodal officer and hope I get a response. Considering the amount I have already paid, I guess I am stuck with Airtel for a minimum of 6 months. Now, I do wish I had taken more trouble in perhaps getting a cable connection, though I am still suspicious of their service.

I sent a follow-up mail to the Nodal Officer on Monday and haven't heard from him since. I think they have officially entered an "ignore everything" and "don't care" mode. Any suggestions for Plan B? I guess social media can be leveraged in some manner as I really need the message to go through to them.
