Hope after seeing the Hardware Quality of Tatasky HD+ Box u r like .

As u r already using D2h Hd box, and difference in both is clear.

What is the reason of buying Tatasky? It is only for Experiencing new DTH like me or any other reason?

No DTH company No. 1 in today's scenario. Every DTH company doing well as per their service. Channel count is not only norm for compare to other DTH Service. Package Price, Channle PQ ,AQ , good Customer service are also other norms to compare. But in India most of the people subscribe lower base pack i.e 220 Rs. per month. (they are not worried about PQ AQ . People want more Hindi and Regional channels than English Movies and English GEC .
In that sense D2h and Dish TV are far ahead than any other DTH Service provider in india. These 2 companies have more SD and HD channels compare to others.
We are the Only Technocrats want more and more Channels. But others are in Sleeping Mode.

bhaskarkilli I think u have mistaken of few words. I didnt meant there should not be any new channels. it was said for who r saying and comparing the counts only .I wanted to say the counts doesnt matter but our desired channels should be there.
Yes i do agree Tatasky has to add few HD channels like Ten HD , HBO ,Zee Cinema HD ,Zee Studio HD and few SD too .

that priced pack is not lowest i think in any DTH .Even as HD User i have subscribed for Lowest in Tatasky which is "South Sports" annually , time to time subscribing add on channels when needed only .even subscribed for Six only for IPL itself.
Yes thats the actual mentality of genral users of DTH.

as a south user I watch two or three languages in which ts has less Malayalam channels and cost includes too.

If we have all desired channels but the Hardware , PQ,AQ and CC is worst .
Always at the end the Users has to compromise one way or other.
Actually Dish TV hardware is one off the Best in DTH as i experianced . 1stly i bought Dish TV DTH with ZENEGA model STB on Feb 2004 itself. Till now the STB is not opened and working fine. even i had downgraded and later upgraded the Software 4 times [mannually] and used as FTA reciever . Not a single time i had problems in that STB. although now i sold it but still no issues for him also .

Conversely, bhaskar Bhai what's the use of so many channel when hardware is buggy. Till now d2h was having so many audio channels but because of unstable STB, it never opened in my DvR and hanged in 99% times. It's now that after 3 years they woke up to find a solution for it.

Dish TV is undoubtedly ahead in channel count but they are ahead in pricing and subscriber base too. I need a DTH whose hardware is powerful and stable, must have my desired channels and also remains economical ( not cheap ).

Sir,That depends on user to user sir.If anybody ask you about HBO prime channels How can you say about these channels??if you are not having these channels in your service provider. I do agree any person can see only few channels but my idea is he can change the channels if that channels content is good.yes,channel count mite be same but the channels names would be changed.for eg:if any person loves English movie channels definitely he wants HBO prime channels bcoz they have very good movie library and add free channels.so my view is every one asking for new channels because they want to know about the new channels content ,if the new channels content is good comparing to old channels, definitely they leave the old channels an switch on to new channels.anyway this is also depends on person to person.

With respect to ad free channels...it wont bother the DVR users...All we need is HD english movie channels...there are currently 6 major english sd movie channels one way or the other all these movie channels telecast the same movies some times same movies content is held with other movie channels too...the fact is if we have DVR it wont bother much with respect to english sd movie channel as we can record the movies and view it later but HD english movie addition is a must...as it has a different pleasure to view it...
