I m in love with the some of the tamil movies like Ok Kanmani, Maari, Kaaviya Thalivan. Specially kaaviya thalivan because of it great storyline. I absolutely loved the movie. Siddharth and Prithviraj have acted so well, definitely one their best. I must say this movie has some amazing star cast not only in front of the camera like Nassar, Vedhicka but also off camera like the amazing director Vasanthabalan to the music done by the legend A.R Rahman and great producer duo varun and S Sashikanth.
Maruthu a village oriented action plus sentiment movie.
can watchable , people like kombam can enjoy this movie.
Nice screen play and casting,Aatha, Mariamma, sridivya ,villan and radha ravi excellent performance they gives life to movie. Vishal did well his portion.
But personally i hate this director attitude , he is a psycho (jaathi veri pidicha naai) , veeram not only for that cast , in south tamil nadu all cast people (girls) have the same stuf and energy.Vishal should strictly avoid this type of movies in future.

After first weekend maruthu last it occupancy , Monday movie drop it 60 % occupancy compare to opening week.This is sign of movies failure.Team will boost their promotion to pick the crowed.A good entertainment movie so producer should promote the product with some good ideas like what 24 team did.
