I hope that they now provide FREE replacements (New HEVC based Android STBs with Wifi and LAN Connectivity) for those old HD boxes.
HEVC codec will reduce bitrate to 60% of the present bitrate. Also, Android apps will provide OTT like Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar, Voot, Zee5, Sony LIV, etc.
Airtel already provides such STBs to its customers.
Tata Sky seems very PROFIT CENTRIC rather than CUSTOMER CENTRIC.
