I think Tata Sky is trying to find out the exact number of consumer count whose Dish Antenna need alignment for proper signal. If they would be activating vertical polarity, then antenna should be adjusted vertically also which may not be done presently as engineer need to care only for horizontal frequency.

By doing this activity they will get the exact number if people who are facing signal issue and for the engineer will make visit and realign it correctly

And this must be a better way than visiting all consumers home and checking the alignment
Its very much possible..............Because the way TS is doing all this troubling thousands of customers & Nagpal issuing public statements, it looks like TS is doing a college project...................

Do not worry they tested for this purpose only so that they the customers whose dish and lnb need alignment. They have said to all that even if u r getting proper signals right now but in the last few days while testing was on u faced issues, plz allow technician visit. Now if customers do not do this then they r to be blame. Scrolls r running on home channels too.

Now they will activate vertical polarity on Insat 4A and continue migration to Asiasat if it is happening

That means again bad planning....................Don't know why TS is forced to do all such things..........
I think D2H also increased capacity while launching 4K channel but without bothering customers................

Bro, Videocon d2h did not have this issue, they r using dual polarity since inception so their issue was just shuffling channels on TP. It was a completely diff issue, even in tata sky there is no issue when they shuffle channels on TP or convert them to MPEG4, they do it after midnight but this V polarity thing had to be done in peak hours to know the customers which need alignment

Agree bro..................But I don't think this is the way of doing business.................by annoying customers........
Because for end user, all these things doesn't matter...................They would think as to "why it happens only with TS".....................
