Why did he reset the STB? No need to do that, to get both H and V polarity signals u just need to adjust the LNB Skew. Don't allow these technicians to do such things, they will further destroy ur STB and ask money for it

Well as i said no software update is needed, vertical polarity will be activated on Insat 4A in next few days and tata sky will use 24 TP'son Insat 4A till migration continues to Asiasat which will take over an year and till that time ultimately Insat 4A will be near death and will be vacated

Bro, do not believe these engineers. Software Updates r a regular activity, they fix bugs and activate new features in the STB. They will continue till tata sky exists, its not specific to migration.

Bro, that's good which is why i told u about it. Don't allow these people to play with ur equipments unnecessarily. If u getting proper signals from dish, stb will automatically receive it unless its faulty or if it has been off for many years
