yes bro....So that TS could do their work peacefully without any interruptions........otherwise their attention would be diverted here...........I think we should stop discussing about TP's and satellites for some time wrt Tata Sky

I subscribed Active Music at Rs. 1 under Jingalal Saturday but since last evening i am getting unsubscribed message on TV for this service despite it showing active under my account on myatatasky.com. Refresh command from their end too did not help, Customer care telling that Active Music can be viewed on channel number 1906 and Active Cooking is on channel number 650. I told them that i am not getting any ch on 1906 , now they have arranged a call back plus sending me channel number list saying that channel numbers may change.

Suniel bro, i am hinting that satellite migration may have started but i am not sure. When i receive a call back from Tata Sky, will get a clear picture of the situation and will update it here
Its not possible because simple logic is , there are no any sign of new satellite testing started and hidden channels from satellite is still not possible so as of now no migration

Well, just now received a call from Tata Sky. They have told that some migration is happening at our end. They did all steps to send refresh commands to my STB and it did not work. I inquired at which channel number are they getting Active Music and they told its at channel number 1906 at our end and Active Cooking is at 650. Also they told that some changes are happening and due t business policy we cannot share all the details.
I have told them to get maximum info and get back to me tomorrow as to what are the changes that are happening and why they are happening.
All i can say is this change implies that new channels are coming and new satellite news is true. How can Active Cooking be at 650 in the music genre and Active Music at 1906 which even Tata Sky people have confirmed that they are getting these channels at these numbers on their STB.
I am super excited now

Of course i am excited bcoz i use their service. Love or hate is not a question, i praise or criticize on basis of each company's policies . I am not like other people who have their favorite DTH or Hated DTH and they praise or bash just for this sake.

I have strong lists of negatives and positives about each DTH . I have always loved Tata Sky for their service, product quality but when they just give excuses for years for not having bandwidth despite so many solutions possible which they themselves rejected, i have full right to criticize them as a subscriber. You may be satisfied with high package prices and less channels but i am not.
Finally after a long time read CAG report on Management of Satellite Capacity for DTH.
Few important points found related to Tata Sky
Leasing of another foreign satellite Asiasat 7 in the orbital slot 83° was also
under active consideration of the ICC (July 2012). However, due to the strong views of MIB
against placement of a foreign satellite Asiasat 7 in the Indian orbital slot, it was ultimately
decided not to proceed with leasing of the foreign satellite
Tata Sky, the major non Government DTH service provider in the INSAT system
had also decided to move to a foreign satellite.
