Well i followed up with TV5 Monde Asie for 3 or 4 years and continuosly wrote to them on Facebook, Mail , Web feedback forms etc. Also i had long chats with Airtel team many times and gave them detailed explanation as to why they should add the channel mentioning positives and negatives for both Airtel and its Customers.
It was my hard work which finally paid off and TV5 Monde Asie was added on Airtel DTH. if i can create so much difference then for sure we all can create a much bigger difference if we demand
For 9XO too i gave airtel many detailed points why this channels is needed, apart from that my list was many times forwarded directly to their marketing team, this was followed through many years. Also there was detailed conversation about so many channels, i also gave them detailed point by point answer why Videocon d2h is successful in adding so many customers and they are far behind. At last they increased their channel addition speed, you saw them adding so many SD and HD channels. My recorded conversations were forwarded to their marketing team and they would have got so many reasons why such additions would boost their business and serve customer's needs
All in all what i want to say is that this is not easy but if a single person through the years can make such a difference, each of u can too. Just believe in urself and whatever points u make, give a valid reason for it and make it in such a way that it serves to the best interest of DTH company and the customers. I have done that over the years, Airtel and Videocon d2h understood and took action and i am sure Tata Sky too would move a step forward
