Great observation brother...and this was something badly needed. I mean watching SD videos had not meaning...but this is costly affair it seems...

I think TS is the biggest jerk. Because they have a option to use fresh 12 TPs of GSAT 10. They can easily creates the space by opting atleast MPEG 4 DVB S2 at each and every TPs. Many fan boys of different platforms used to credit TS that they are this and that and creating space and all that fine enough if they able to add 54 SD channels and 15 - 16 HD channels per TP then whats the problem ?

7 TP * 50 + SD channels will stand more then 300 SD channels which is currently they're carrying will never increase that figure to avoid blackmailing from all the networks rest use for HD channels and UHD channels. In next 4 years only 5 - 6 UHD channels will launch out of which 5 will be from STAR only. And in case if they require they can ask for extra TPs and put the concept of 3 S LNB but atleast initiate to take new TPs which stupid are not doing. If they keep crying to move to native SAT how can we expect them to move to other position ? Their Technicians and Engineers are not Immortals that they can complete migration within 6 months to 1 years.
