Not sure if I have understood your discussion correctly. But if you are talking about EPG appearing automatically, then every 30min or whenever there is one entry (program) to other the EPG in Tata Sky pops up...like from 8:30 to 9:00 if I have Cricket News and then 9:00 - 9:30 News EPG entry then at 9:00 am the EPG will automatically appear on the screen. Was it coming in between those change times in your case?

Whenever such things happen is because something background activities is happening maybe shuffling of channels or something like that

Even in ADTV which uses the same software of TS, the EPG pops up when a program ends its completion and shows next program.

I am not talking about EPG popping up when a new show starts, that is normal. I am talking about random pop ups which happens when tata sky add or removes a channel or is doing some background work

Just now viewed 4K special episode of Gadget Guru, man how biased they were is evident from the fact that they only reviewed Tata Sky 4K and did not even mention Videocon d2h 4K. They were even sitting in Tata Sky technological center and it seems Tata Sky paid them to just focus on them, looked like surrogate advertising. It was totally one sided biased show. At the end Mr. Nagpal was interviewed and asked about how bandwidth will come, he said that when 4K came to his notice 1 year back it required full 1 transponder to relay One 4K Channel which is equal to 35 SD channels , now it requires juts 20 and with further improving compression standards it would require just space of 10 SD channels for One 4K channel.
Also he told that he expects 100 HD channels in next 2 years and 1 or 2 Full time 4K channels. The hosts did not ask him tough questions as to that has been done to add bandwidth or why they r behind in adding new channels. All in all it was a biased show
