Update Tata Sky General Discussion Thread

Let them drown bro, they deserve it as they made us suffer knowingly and purposefully . Now Airtel and Videocon should conquer, enough of this ''Premium'' Tata Sky using marketing to attract customers and then not listening to them.

I have hopes that this time they will add many new channels as i have studied all things they did in last few months, now they have ample bandwidth but if they do not have intention to add then they will do nothing

But still i hv a doubt bcoz how they use Gsat10 and AS7/8 at the same time....... look at the orbit postions of both satellite bro.

Simple ISRO has an obligation to give tata ky back up sat if in contract period Insat 4A hs issues so tata ky will use GSAT10 as Insat 4A has power issues or may be if they consider Insat 4A is fine they will continue using it till migration is completed to Asiasat 7/8

Yes, and it will take almost 1.5 or 2 years for migration to be completed. Also if they are not migrating and plan to use GSat10 with dual polarity then that may also be possible

Also i have got the confirmation that Tata Sky is migrating to Asiasat 7 and Asiasat 8. Both sats r co-located and will be used at same time. New Channel additions will happen soon and till the time complete migration to these new sats is over, Insat 4A/GSAT10 will also be operational with dual polarity

Nothing is coming on those TPS I have checked that while leaving for Office those TPS are present on tata sky STB

Bro, when did i say to enter the TP on tata sky stb, ofcourse u will get nothing as these TP's are from Asiasat. I am asking Akash, Deepu bro to track these transponders on AS7/8
