if rules can be implemented honestly, then there will be a reduction of the prices from the broadcaster side.
ideally what trai said just before diwali that a la carte prices of all channels will be over 1000 rs. and they should have come under 400 rs. so broadcasters have to decrease the prices of their bouquet channels in such a way so that prices of all channels (combined together) must not gone beyond 400rs.

if small benefit would be there then also i m happy
yup. that is y i always opted for long term packages as prices never slashed in india but only can be hold.
anyhow if GST has to be implemented then all these prices will go much higher from 2nd Q of FY 2018
