Can coaxial cable only works with DTH Connections or any other wire also can be used ??
Go to a cable guy/set up box provider and ask him if he has some or buy from him.
Internet provider who uses docsis technology also uses coaxial cable, hathway comes to mind.
Now im not sure which type of cable tata sky uses and what kind cable providers use. If you have hd box then there will be 2 cables and i think both are of different kind.
Check this thread, tata sky used to charge Rs100 back in 2013 excluding visitation charges.
RG6 Cable Extension. Tata Sky HD

Call customer care and ask how much they are charging, they usually arrange a callback with technician and he will give you full info on charges applicable.

I have shifted to a new home recently and they have not provided any holes for the cable wire to come inside home , I am taking the wire from the door gap , so everyday I have to remove the wire before closing the door ...
The TataSky technician came and did the setup but as there was no entry points , he just provided the wire he had ...
Which just comes till the door ....
My plan is that :
The door has a tiny hole (may be around 2-3mm ) ... So I am planning to connect a thin wire to the Tata sky cable and bring the thin wire home and connect to STB , so that I can close the door and don't worry for the wire ....
Any idea regarding this is appreciated ....

I asked owner to complete the drilling process , but it's 2 months , she is saying that their electrician isn't responding .....

I tried expanding the wire with a thin iron type wire [GT wire] , but no signal issue

I don't think that you can connect its cable to a thin cable, whole thing needs to connect to your box.
What you can do is make a small drill on the side of the door, it will be very small and both cables will be able to enter easily. There are no holes provided in my house too, this is what i have done.
Ask the owner if she will allow it.

Ok I will ask the owner again , the house owner isn't saying that there will be no holes , but telling that I have called up the electrician and he isnt coming ... Same since 2 months ...
