You mean all cable STB has digicard and it's inscribed inside?

No no there was no DigiCard Inside..
Last Year i opened my STB to look what Inside it and didn't even found Slot for DigiCard..

It's a micro chip. Not a smartcard. It's inside the STB. Tell me one thing if there is no smartcard then how do u pair the STB then ???

Some STB have a CA ID with internal micro chip

There can't be any stb without card. Now a days cards came as small as our mobile sim cards. Check again.

I had a Cisco STB which did not had a slot for digicard however it was paired for Hathaway cable. The LCO took my box and went to Hathaway office and paired it. I was able to view the services for longer duration
