As per Tata Sky CC, 4K channel will be absolutely free for subscribers having Tata Sky UHD 4K STB during ICC World Cup 2015 starting 14-Feb-2015

So if TS is giving 4k matches free then they must be having some future plan regarding UHD VOD channel, for recovering money.....this will be like an investment it seems.....

OT: Last world cup final was held on 2nd April 2011...it was a coincidence.....before the match....Me, My wife and my brother in law a lunch in Barbeque NAtion....after having lunch we started to watch the final and rest is history....it was my best ever birthday to remember....

If Tata Sky is moving to a New Satellite then UHD Channel will be beamed from there only otherwise this is also a fake marketing strategy to retain customers. Tomorrow nothing will happen, they will just add a Promo Channel mentioning details about UHD STB and what we can watch

But then very few people would be able to watch 4k....because it would involve dish positioning....So most likely TS will add 4K channel on old sat.....they have already started testing 4K channel....
