AS8 is at 105.5 dgree east currently. Tata Sky is starting migration in May or June so surely ur statement is not at all true. If migration happens, they will align all dishes to 105.5 degree. Had ur statement been true then A8 would have started moving to 83 degree long ago. Also it is not possible as at 83 degree GOI does not allow foreign satellites as many government agencies use that orbit plus moving a sat so much would make it less powerful bcoz it consumes lot of fuel and hence of less use

I also have the same Kaonmedia HD STB as Tilak Bro and its software also got updated today morning.

All those who still have doubt that V polarity signals are from GSat10, there is another proof that its from Insat 4A bcoz in download location clearly insat 4a is mentioned in system details. Also now HD DVR is left for updation. I think post that Tata Sky will also start migration to Asiasat

Is it possible for TS to keep the name Insat 4A on STB but actually use the signals from Gsat, as they are co-located......

See what I got in settings, by default IN4A-14 is selected, when I selected GSAT10-14eq I got more signal strength then IN4A-14, I m not expert, so expert can reply what is it?

You will get more signal strength as Gsat 10 TPS are completely empty and it is only wrt to signal level and not coz of channels coz all the TPS are empty in gsat 10

Satellite name on STB doesn't matter NinadG bro. They can put even Harit Nagpals name on STB what matters is signal and TS adding channel/service on STB
