Tata sky is focussing more to bring these packs as they are aware of other dth marketing policy so nice initiative by tata sky by bringing these packs and add ons

Just saw the Rs. 99 package, its nothing but compilation of Free To Air Channels across genres, only exception is Star Sports 2. But its a nice initiative. The Rs. 179 package just contains extra HindI Entertainment, 2 Knowledge Channels and One Cartoon Channel, still Zing is a much better cheaper option than this .

Also they have mentioned that DD India, DD Sapthagiri are available in MPEG4 but they r still in MPEG2 that too under DD Active. Same with Sadhna and Adhyatm they r in MPEG4 but still in tome shift mode. I guess on 27th changes will happen

Heard that vertical tp's will be activated. Hve to wait n watch, lots of changes r happening in Tata Sky. Glad they r focusing on all segments of customers equally now.

In my opinion MY 99 pack is waste as it is Kicchdi of everything and will be of no use to most of the subscribers

Yes they should have made region specific packages like southern packages should be -

Kannnada Starter - containing all Kannnada channels + All Knowledge Channels + Kids Channels+Star Sports 1


Such similar packages should have been made for all regions.
