Tata Sky launching new set top box and will move to new satellite

Some regional channel/s are in MPEG4 which cant be view then customer call to cc. For ex. Marathi channels like 9x jhakaas, saam tv, 24taas are running in MPEG4.

Realigning to new satellite is a tedious and time consuming process as it might take more than 3 years to do so. SD and Adtv had dual transmission from both satellites for 3 years until the alignment is over.

Every one including media is still mentioning about GSAT 10. So that satellite still exist and working. It's non allocation to Tata Sky seems to be a political mess up which might settle soon in this new government.

Yes gsat 10 is ready but i am just giving ex. Of technology. Ts in market because of their effort and will power to run dth business. Imagine if they not move on mpeg4 then no new taker for ts.

Yeah bro. Other than available space dth operators have to be with latest technologies. Space issue will always be there. So, they should be ready with all possible efforts to create more space.
