Tried 3-4 times to download manually using both the methods to no avail. Disgusted left for automatic downloading.

Don't try so many times as this might hurt your STB. Leave it for automatic update.

I updated manually to ver 116, no changes noticed.

No idea bro as I didn't tried but you may try for it as no risk involved in it.

As mentioned by Shubham bro, I tried with 1st step and it didn't happened. So, I tried with 2nd step and got below error and thought that " Oh freak, I bricked my STB". But after power recycling and trying 1st method again, it worked.

Got my stb software updated automatically today morning as soon as I switched on it. Could not find any change whatsoever. Any ideas?
