Yeah. That could be the reason. With super LNB both satellite and DVR works well.

Another solution they cited me was installation of SatCR which was a costly arrangement as it require electricity

If you are HD PVR Subscriber using single wire & splitter then channels from GSAT 10 will not come. Similarly for MDU subscribers they will not get GSAT 10 channels using normal LNB. Hence they need Super LNB to view channels from GSAT 10
