Tata Sky Summer Bonanza Offer (‘ Offer ’) is a
promotional scheme which is being offered by
Tata Sky Limited (‘Tata Sky’) to its Eligible
Subscribers. Eligible Subscribers shall mean a
Tata Sky Subscriber (whether existing or new
subscriber) who has an Active Account Status.
Under this Offer, Eligible Subscribers shall have
access to all the Channels available on the
Tata Sky Platform at no additional costs. The
Eligible Subscribers shall continue to pay the
existing subscription charges as usual.
This Offer shall be implemented for the period
10th May 2015 to 23:59:59 hours on 31st
May 2015 (‘Offer Period’). The offer shall
automatically cease to be implemented after
23:59:59 hours on 31st May 2015 i.e. the
Eligible Subscribers shall not have access to
all the channels and will be able to avail only
his/her existing subscription services.
All Eligible Subscribers who have Tata Sky HD,
Tata Sky + HD & UHD 4K , box connections
will be able to view all HD channels during the
Offer Period, irrespective of whether they pay
any HD Access Fee.
Showcase, VoD & Actve Services shall not be
offered free under this Offer and the Eligible
Subscribers shall pay the regular charges
payable for such services.
Eligible Subscribers subscribing to Everywhere
TV will be able to watch only those channels
on their device which they have subscribed to.
Any other channel will not be available to
these subscribers during the Offer Period.
Catch up TV content shall not be available for
free channels being offered, as a part of this
Offer.
During the Offer Period, if a subscriber
upgrades his standard definition connection to
High Definition, the free HD access fee period
will be inclusive of the Offer Period.
For example - if a subscriber upgrades his
existing SD connection to HD under the HD
upgrade offer of Rs.1500/-, the 12 months of
subscription will start right from the date of
upgrade and not from 1st June 2015.
Any pack add request through Missed call/
SMS/ IVR/ Selfcare during the Offer Period will
be processed as usual. Which means
subscribers will be able to add Addon packs/
A-la-carte channels during the Offer Period.
Subsequently, his account will start getting
charged for the corresponding Addon pack/
ALC from the date of availing such Addon
pack/A-la-carte channels and not from 1st
June 2015.
In addition to the terms and conditions stated
here, the Eligible Subscribers shall be bound
by the terms and conditions stipulated in the
Hardware Warranty Terms And Conditions,
Specific Terms and Conditions of Tata Sky
Subscription Contract and/or Specific Terms
and Conditions of Tata Sky Subscription
Contract for Tata Sky Hardware provided on
Entrustment basis and/or Everywhere TV
Terms and Conditions and such other
documents that may be all found on the Tata
Sky website - DTH (India) services from Tata Sky DTH, Digital TV service, DTH service . The
documents referred above will be collectively
referred herein as ‘Subscription Contract’.
Tata Sky shall not be responsible in case of
any network problems such as breakdown of
machinery, unclear network, disruption in the
network and/or the charges that may be
payable by the subscriber to any network
operator including any premium rates that may
be charged by the network operator. Eligible
Subscribers must check with their respective
network operators regarding the charges
payable to the network operator before using
any of the methods mentioned above. Any
dispute in connection with the same should be
settled between the Eligible Subscribers and
the network operator without involving Tata
Sky.
Tata Sky reserves the right at any time, without
prior notice, without assigning any reason and
without any liability whatsoever, to add or vary
all or any of the terms and conditions or to
replace, wholly or in part this promotional
scheme or to withdraw it completely.
Any and all taxes and/or levies applicable in
relation to the Offer shall be solely borne by
the Eligible Subscribers.
The Eligible Subscribers hereby understands
and gives his/ her irrevocable consent to Tata
Sky to exchange and/or share the personal
information collected by Tata Sky of the Eligible
Subscribers with any third party.
Tata Sky will not be responsible for any loss
or damage caused to the Eligible Subscribers if
the Offer is cancelled and/or withdrawn by Tata
Sky or if the Eligible Subscribers is not able to
view the channels due to reasons beyond the
reasonable control of Tata Sky including
without limitation force majeure events such as
war, natural calamities, floods, failure of
telecommunication network, satellite
technology failure etc.
By availing this Offer, it shall be deemed to be
construed that the Eligible Subscribers has
read and consented to the terms and
conditions stated here in and in to the
Subscription Contract.

Do not worry, tata sky has not become any generous. They r doing this out of misery as during this period their systems will be undergoing major changes so customers would have faced issues of not receiving one channels or another even though they being part of their package so in order to overcome this they have made all chs free. This was the reason why today EPG was not available for 11th and 12th May this morning and afternoon . Now their systems will adapt to new changes , after that additions will happen and migration will start

This happens many times when a company undergoes overhaul in systems. U must have faced it one time or another in DTH or Digital Cable that channel/s which are part of ur package sometimes go blocked. So tata sky has aplied this solution in the interim period to overcome this and not face customer's ire
