So I got the new Transfer STB on Saturday. Here are my thoughts: Installation was smooth. Was pretty impressed by the build quality & size reduction of the new STB. The changes made on the remote are also great. All plus points in my opinion.
However, I just can't get past the horrendous system they've put into place for their mobile services. Till date I haven't been able to use the transfer feature on either my iPhone or iPad. On iPad the app simply refuses to let me in with my subscriber id. Tata Sky Hotline Chat persons are clueless! Also, don't get why it doesn't have the 4K capabilities included.

New change found in Transfer + HD boxes.

While playing recorded content the blue round doesn't appear now. rather a small blue play sign appears on screen.

Just a little follow up to my complaint with tata sky helpline: After 2 calls my complaint was finally forwarded to a higher department for resolution where I was asked about everything from my phone model to my net connection. The person then said someone from senior IT department will definitely look into the issue & come up with a resolution for me. Unfortunately due to me being busy for most of the week I couldn't receive their calls. Today when I received their call, they asked something quite exact, the DRM status, which shows not activated for me. The CSR again said she would convey this info to the IT team & call me back ASAP.
Overall, I'm quite impressed with their customer service! Here's hoping for good news!
