I don't think it will happen because HD channels are the original revenue maker for DTH for ordering HD you have to order all SD channels pack which strikes the revenue and tight our pocket.

Good effort SUNIEL bro. You have been trying hard to find out the reasons for Tata Sky's inaction. Many of us like me keep on guessing it. Space crunch is the main issue.

Last year too every Tata sky and non sky users were having even worst frustration about non addition of channels on Tata Sky. Every blog, article, forum bashed them from left right and center and in between all these I was literally forced to opt Tata Sky. But soon after that they added 6 HD channels and some 14-15 SD channels and happiness filled among all Tata Sky users.

So, I am again expecting Tata Sky to create similar magic and then continue with it.

option should be given either only HD packs or SD/HD packs.

Every DTH is charging for SD channels too along with HD channels in Base packages. So Tata Sky isn't doing anything different.

Only bad thing is they aren't providing any HD addon without HD access fee.

I don't think any DTH will give only HD pack but I would like to see HD add on system in every DTH and it badly needed in dishtv too.

HD addition system is already available on d2h. No idea about others.
