Tata Motors officially unveiled the Zica hatchback as its next big product for the Indian car market. All set to go on sale early this year, our sources now reveal that the all-new
Tata Zica will be launched in India on 20th January, 2016. The Zica will be the first of the two new cars that is set to be launched in India as a part of Tata's Kite project, which will soon be followed by a sub-compact sedan version.
Now, Tata Motors has named the new car as Zica because the carmaker believes it's a Zippy car and to an extent we totally agree with Tata. In terms of design the Tata Zica is based on the same XO platform as company's very popular hatchback,
Tata Indica, but that is the only similarity between the two. Essentially the Zica is an all-new car with new style cues and sharper design language. The car looks fresh and equipped enough to compete in this highly competitive market of compact hatchback cars.
