oh thats great so DD Malayallam going to be available from 2morow on T(S .so TS adding the channels which r available before on its platform.so next may be INDIAVISIO&KAIRALI tv .its my guess bcoz this 2 channels where available on TATASKY before.so hope for the best...!!!

Why they removed popular channels?

I think you mean "Popular south channels". Answer is they have to choose 200 channels out of almost 800 channels broadcast in India as by MPEG 2 compression maximum 200 channels they can broadcast from 12 transponder of INSAT 4A. They choose those channels which are popular all over India so that they have footprint all over India.
